Voice Notes and Voice Calls on Lovora: How They Work and What They Cost

• 24 voices in total: 14 women’s voices, 6 anime-style voices and 4 men’s voices.
• Each catalogue companion has her own fixed voice, used for every note and every call.
• When you design your own companion you choose from the 20 female and anime voices, and can listen to a sample of each first.
• All voices are synthetic. They are not recordings of, or clones of, any real person’s voice made without consent (see the Acceptable Use Policy).

A voice note is one of her messages read aloud. Tap ▶ under any of her messages to hear it.

• Free account: 2 voice notes.
• Premium: 1 credit per note played.
• Her first message in a conversation is often already available as a voice note, so it plays instantly.
• A note that has been played once is stored and plays again immediately.

A voice call is a spoken conversation in push-to-talk form: you hold to speak, release, and she answers aloud. Her answers in a call are deliberately short — a sentence or two — so the conversation keeps moving. Every exchange is written into your chat history, so a call and the text conversation continue each other.

• Voice calls require Premium.
• Cost: 25 credits per minute of conversation, charged per exchange on the seconds actually spoken by both of you (a minimum of 2 credits per exchange).
• The monthly 500 credits cover about 20 minutes of calls; the 24-hour pass’s 150 credits about 6 minutes.

Measured on the production system (September 2026), for one exchange in a call:

• Transcribing what you said: 0.3–0.7 seconds.
• Writing her reply: about 1 second.
• Producing her voice: about 3 seconds in English, about 4 seconds in Italian.

She therefore usually starts speaking four to five seconds after you finish. The very first call after the voice system restarts can take noticeably longer while it warms up.

Voice notes and calls work in all eight of Lovora’s languages. Voice quality is excellent in English, Italian and German, understandable with occasional mispronunciations in Arabic, and less natural in Spanish; the measurements are in Languages on Lovora.

• Your voice recording is used only to transcribe what you said. The transcript is kept as part of your chat; the recording itself is not stored.
• Voice is processed on servers operated for Lovora, not sent to third-party voice assistants.
• What is stored and how to delete it is covered in Your account and data.

• A microphone and permission for the browser to use it. The browser asks the first time; the call cannot start if permission is refused.
• Any current browser on a phone or computer. No app needs to be installed.
• A quiet place helps: background noise is transcribed along with your words.

In text chat she writes as much as the moment calls for. In a call each answer is limited to a sentence or two, because every extra sentence adds about a second of waiting before she starts speaking and makes the exchange feel like listening to a recording rather than talking. If you want a long answer, ask for it in the text chat; the call and the chat share one history, so she remembers both.
