Kindroid is an AI companion app from Beautifully Incorporated, on the web, iPhone and Android. Each companion, a "Kin", is built by you: backstory, key memories, example messages, directives and avatar. It is known for engineering-heavy memory, real-time voice calls, live AI video calls with lip-sync, and a written content policy that allows erotic roleplay for adults. It is rated 4.8 out of 5 from about 9,300 ratings on the US App Store and 4.4 from about 25,600 reviews on Google Play.
How much Kindroid costs in 2026
Kindroid publishes no prices on its website: its Subscriptions page says you see the exact price for your country and platform at checkout, and that buying on the web is usually cheaper than through the app stores. The figures below are the US App Store list.

Stacked, the top tier on iPhone costs $15.99 + $28.99 + $68.99 = $113.97 a month. Audio is metered on top: the monthly 1,000,000 audio credits are roughly 570 minutes with the newest voice, and calls cost an extra 400 credits a minute. Extra selfie credits start at $6.99 for 50.
What Kindroid allows
- Explicit text: allowed in writing. Kindroid's Moderation Guidelines list NSFW and erotic roleplay under what is explicitly allowed and say there is no filter on the AI itself.
- Enforcement is limited to three red lines: imminent self-harm, imminent harm to others, and child sexual abuse material, with a warning before any action.
- Explicit images and video: on the website only. Kindroid says the filter does not exist on the web version, while the iPhone and Android apps remove nudity to meet store rules; the NSFW video engine is web-only too.
- Age: 18 and over. Paying counts as age verification; other accounts may face behavioural age estimation, with a Yoti selfie or ID as the fallback.
Renewal and refunds at Kindroid
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current non-promotional rate unless you opt out, and the trial converts on its own. Kindroid says it generally does not offer refunds and all sales are final, that in-app purchases are never refunded, and that it may permanently ban users who dispute charges. When a subscription lapses the account becomes read-only; nothing is deleted.

On Lovora, credits pay for media only: a photo costs 12 credits, a short video of about five seconds 150, a voice call 25 credits a minute, and hearing a message read aloud 1. Messages are unlimited on every plan, with a fair-use ceiling of 500 a day against scripts. Nothing renews: each purchase is a fixed period that simply ends.
Where Lovora is weaker than Kindroid
Kindroid does several things Lovora does not do at all. Lovora has no video calls, and its clips are about five seconds against Kindroid's 15-second video selfies. It has no group chats and no rooms with other people. You cannot design or clone a voice. Memory is simpler: the last 40 messages plus a short list of facts about you, with no journals and no per-reply memory view. Calls are push-to-talk, not real time. There is no app in the stores, no API and no Discord bot, and the builder makes women only. Lovora is also younger, launched in 2026, with far fewer reviews.
