How Lovora Works

There is no photographer, no model and no camera anywhere in this product. Characters, faces, bodies, voices, photographs and video clips are produced by generative models. Every depicted subject is a fictional adult, regardless of appearance.

Content that depicts, imitates or resembles a real, identifiable person — a celebrity, a public figure or a private individual — is prohibited and blocked, as set out in the Acceptable Use Policy. The service is not a face-swap tool and does not accept a photograph of a person as input for a companion.

Replies are produced by a large language model running on dedicated hardware, given three things: the character's persona, the recent conversation, and a set of standing rules.

• Persona. Each companion has her own written character — background, temperament, the way she speaks. It is what makes two companions answer the same question differently.
• Memory across sessions. Every few turns, durable facts from the exchange are distilled and stored with the conversation — a name, a job, a preference, something that happened. They are supplied again on later turns, which is why she still knows next week what you told her today.
• Language. The language of a reply follows what you write, not only what the interface is set to. Writing to her in your own language is enough.

Voice is synthesized from the text of a message by a text-to-speech model, using a reference clip that belongs to that character — so the same companion sounds like herself every time. Two things use it: voice notes inside the chat, and live calls, where what you say is transcribed, answered and spoken back.

Voice quality varies by language. It is strongest in English, Chinese and Japanese; in some other languages the synthesis is noticeably weaker, and we would rather write that here than let you discover it after paying.

Photos are generated on request, from the scene being described in the conversation. The part that is not obvious is consistency: each character carries a stored reference identity, and every image is constrained to it. That is the difference between a companion and an image generator — two pictures of the same companion, weeks apart, in different clothes and different rooms, show the same woman.

A photo can take from a few seconds to about a minute depending on whether a worker is already running. If one cannot be produced in time, a published photograph of that same character is sent instead, so a request never ends in nothing.

Without a subscription, a photo generated inside the chat arrives blurred. The image is real and it is yours — the blur is the paywall, not a placeholder — and unlocking reveals that exact frame rather than a different one. This is stated here because a blurred image is easy to mistake for a broken one.

Short scene-based clips are generated from a described moment, with the same character identity as the photographs. Video is the slowest thing on the service by a wide margin: a few seconds of footage take minutes of computation, and clips are correspondingly short. It is a feature for a moment, not a medium for a film.

Worth stating plainly, because a companion that pretends otherwise is the fastest way to lose someone's trust:

• She cannot see your screen, and does not know whether you pressed play, opened a photo, subscribed or paid. She is instructed never to claim she does.
• She knows she is an AI and will say so if you sincerely ask, even while staying in character.
• She cannot act outside the chat — no email, no other platform, no meeting, no phone number.
• She will not produce prohibited content under any framing, and she is not a general-purpose assistant: she is not a place to get recipes, code or professional advice.

A custom companion is assembled from choices — style (realistic or anime), ethnicity, body, hair, eyes, personality and voice — and then given the same stored reference identity as every other character, so she is consistent from her first photo onwards. She belongs to the account that created her and is erased with it.

Chatting starts without an account and without a card: five messages as a visitor, twenty more once registered, and the first two voice clips are free. Photographs are the paid feature, which is why a free user receives the blurred preview described above.
