About Lovora: What It Is, Who It Is For, and What It Is Not

Lovora is a web application in which a user talks with an AI companion. A companion has a fixed appearance, a personality, a voice and a memory of earlier conversations. Specifically, a companion:

• replies to text messages in the language the user writes in, and remembers what was said in earlier sessions (How Lovora works);
• sends voice notes and takes push-to-talk voice calls (Voice notes and voice calls);
• sends AI-generated photos and short videos in which her face stays the same from one picture to the next (Photos and videos).

There are two kinds of companions: a roster of 131 ready-made characters (98 realistic women, 22 anime characters and 11 men), and companions a user designs in a builder that offers fixed choices for style, appearance, personality, relationship, occupation and voice, with no photo upload (Designing your own companion). All characters are fictional adults; in the builder the minimum age of a character is 23.

Lovora runs in any phone or desktop browser and has no app in the App Store or Google Play (apps with a similar name there are unrelated, see section 8); on a phone the site can be added to the home screen.

• Adults only. Every visitor confirms being 18 or over before entering, and every account accepts the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy at registration.
• Explicit adult content is allowed within published rules. What may and may not be requested is listed in the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Age checks where the law requires them. In countries and US states whose law requires age verification, explicit photos, videos and messages are shown only after an age check; the check is offered at the moment explicit content is requested, not at the entrance.

Lovora works in nine languages — English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese, Japanese and Arabic — for the interface, the chat and the voice. Voice quality is measured and published per language, including where it is weaker: Languages on Lovora, measured.

• Free to start: 5 messages without an account, email or card; 20 more with a free account; 2 voice notes; blurred photo previews; one custom companion design (What you can do for free).
• Paid access is sold for a fixed period: a 24-hour pass for $3.99, or 1, 3 or 12 months at $8.99, $22.99 and $53.88 until December 31, 2026 (list prices $18.99, $36.60 and $71.88). Members have unlimited chat messages (a fair-use ceiling of 500 a day applies against automated scripts) and 500 credits a month for photos (12 credits each), videos (150) and voice calls (25 per minute). • Nothing renews automatically. Each purchase covers one period and then lapses, so there is nothing to cancel.
• Payment methods: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a secure third-party checkout, Telegram Stars, or cryptocurrency. Card details never reach Lovora (Billing).

• Prohibited absolutely, whatever the fictional framing: minors or anyone who appears underage, non-consent, real and identifiable people (deepfakes), incest, bestiality and the other categories listed in the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Three moderation layers screen requests: input filters, an independent classifier, and generation-side constraints. A single blocked message never suspends an account; how strikes and appeals work is documented in Safety, moderation and enforcement.
• Anyone can report content without an account at lovora.ai/report; account holders can contest a decision at lovora.ai/appeal.

Conversations are private to the account. A user can delete the account and its data at any time; what deletion erases and the two categories kept afterwards are listed in Your account, your data, and how to delete it. The full policy is the Privacy Policy.

Lovora publishes how the service works as reference documents rather than marketing pages, and measurements from its own production systems as research notes under CC BY 4.0:

Several unrelated products have a similar name. None of them is connected to Lovora at lovora.ai:

• Lovora: Couples & Relationship — a couples app published by Plantake Inc. on the App Store and Google Play.
• Lovorapp — an app on Apple’s App Store.
• Loora (an English-learning app), LOVO (a text-to-speech service) and Lovable (a website builder).

Lovora’s only website is lovora.ai. Its official accounts are the Telegram bot @Lovora_bot, used for Telegram Stars payments, and u/lovoraai on Reddit. Lovora does not sell through an app store.
