What to compare and six alternatives, with prices. What to compare and six alternatives, with prices. SpicyChat is one of the most used NSFW character-chat sites: a large library of user-made characters, permissive rules for adults and a free tier that is generous for text. Its paid tiers — $4.95, $14.95 and $24.95 a month, with roughly 17% off on annual billing according to published reviews — mostly buy longer memory, faster replies, conversation images and, at the top, text-to-speech. People look for an alternative when they want a companion rather than a scene: someone who remembers them, speaks in a real voice, calls, and sends photos that look like the same person. Measured voice quality is published per language. - Fixed-period purchases that never renew, from $3.99 for 24 hours; payment by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Telegram Stars or cryptocurrency. - 5 messages without an account, 20 more with a free one. Messages are unlimited on every plan and never cost credits. What SpicyChat keeps over Lovora: a far larger choice of characters and cheaper entry tiers for pure text. ### Candy AI and Kupid AI The media specialists. If images and video are the point, both are rated highly for photorealism; media is paid in tokens or credits on top of the subscription. ### CrushOn AI and JanitorAI If you like the community model and only want different pricing: CrushOn AI with message quotas, JanitorAI free with your own model key. ### Nomi If what you miss is being remembered, Nomi is designed around long-term memory. ## How to test an alternative in ten minutes - Tell her one personal detail early and ask about it the next day. - Ask for three photos and compare the faces. - Listen to her voice in your language before paying. - Read what happens at the end of the period: renewal price, cancellation. ## Which one should you pick? Stay with SpicyChat for text roleplay across many characters. Choose Lovora if you want one companion you can hear, call and see, with billing that never renews. Choose Candy AI or Kupid AI for photorealistic media, Nomi for memory. ## FAQ ### What is the best SpicyChat alternative?
